Spa & Salon Facility
As places of renewal, spas are where people come to seek balance and health both inside and out. The entire body is treated because we recognize that all parts of our bodies are interconnected, and the failure of one area will soon become the problem of another. The same holds true for the planet as it does for each of us as individuals, and the same care is necessary to ensure long-lasting health. Likewise, the health of the environment around us directly impacts us every day in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat.

Many industries have realized in recent years that ‘going green’ isn’t just the right thing to do; it can be cost effective as well. Anjou Spa & Salon reduces water use by using Energy Star-rated appliances, tank-less water heaters and water-saving fixtures. We also save energy by using “smart” appliances (moisture-sensor dryers), energy-efficient light bulbs and fixtures and cotton insulation in the walls.
Anjou Spa & Salon is committed to being sustainable. During construction, existing trim, doors and walls were re-used and demolished materials were recycled when possible. Our wood flooring is made from sustainably harvested bamboo and the walls/ceilings were painted with low VOC-emitting interior paint.

Spa & Salon Products
The products used in the spa and salon are chosen for its commitment to using organic and natural ingredients. At the same time, these products provide results and quality formulas that give our clients confidence when using them either inside or outside Anjou.

Our spa robes are made with bamboo fibers which are lightweight, absorbent and indulgent. In addition, the products used for the daily cleaning of our facility, as well as the laundry products used to wash and dry our towels and robes, are all biodegradable and toxin-free.

Anjou Spa & Salon is committed to working with suppliers to reduce packaging and waste and to recycling all possible items in the spa. We use recyclable paper and soy-based ink in as much of our business collateral as possible.
